Me-Core

Paintings on dismantled bathroom core panels from the apartment I grew up in and moved back to as an adult. A way of saying goodbye to childhood and memories. The individual panels were exhibited as wall paintings in the gallery-bar Dvojka (Me-Core, solo exhibition, 2022) and a year later as an installation architecture in the Municipal library GHMP (Thinking through Images – The Visual Events of Miroslav Petříček, 2023); after the exhibition, the settlers of the tricky Vidoule settlement dismantled them and plan to build an earth closet out of the panels, bringing them back to their original purpose, but in a different context. (Vidoule is a vague terrain in artist's neighbourhood.)
