Prague transport company known for dehonesty of the undisputed architectural qualities of the Prague Metro with tasteless advertising. Advertising revenue accounts for a negligible income of the company, yet advertising is given way even at the expense of aesthetic appeal and passenger comfort. In 2024, the company came up with a pilot project for illuminated advertising in the metro tunnels. A few years before that, it had allowed advertising to cover the windows of trams and buses. The metro was the last means of transport with unobstructed views. Not anymore.
